Ramadan, Hajj and Eid

The mere sight of Kaaba is a blessing

Ramadan is a month in the Arabic calendar which is 30 days long, compulsory to fast for adult and for a lot of people the very tiring month because you fast about 17 hours with no food and no water, from subuh prayer to Maghreb prayer! When you fast all 30 days god takes away all of your sins (bad deeds) and you get hasanaat (good deeds)!
How amazing!
After the 30 days of Ramadan it is Eid (a festival for the Muslims which in the morning you go to salat Al Eid 'special prayer' you treat everyone with respect, if you want you can buy people presents and go to a restaurant.
At this same period it is Hajj:
Hajj is at the same period as Ramadan but it is for 1 week ONLY! When you go to Hajj all your sins are forgiven by Allah and visit the Kaaba which is Allah's house in Mecca in Saudi Arabia, it is where the prophet died and was buried, it was built by prophet Ibrahim (AS) above is an picture of the most sacred and most visited site of where people do hajj (pilgrimage), where the prophet Muhammad died and what prophet Ibrahim built.

  1. They indeed regarded it a great religious service. With the passage of time like the other teachings of religion, they lost the true form of this worship and excluded many of its rituals and introduced some new practices that they deemed appropriate. The Qur’an re-established this Abrahamic worship in its original form and said: And whosoever can afford should visit the House on pilgrimage as duty to God.
